The suspect ran off with a purse left on a Wawa counter.

The theft occurred just after 9 a.m. in the Wawa at 917 Erial Rd. A woman had left her purse on the store's counter and walked away, giving the thief an opportunity to snatch the purse, walk out of the store and flee in a car.
The suspect, whose gender could not be confirmed by police, got into a gray two-door car believed to be a Mazda MX-6.
