The man was caught after the Forest Fire Service set up surveillance on an area where forest fires had been set recently.
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP -- A 62-year-old township man is facing arson charges Wednesday after police said he was caught setting a brush fire Tuesday and later admitted it was far from the first time.
Police said the state's Forest Fire Service was keeping an eye on a portion of Beebetown Road after numerous forest fires had been set in the area in recent weeks when they spotted Dennis Casario, of Railroad Avenue, pull over to the side of Beebetown Road, light a fire in the brush and leave the area.

The Forest Fire Service and Winslow's fire department stepped in to extinguish the fire, but township police followed up and confronted Casario at his home.
When he was brought to the station for questions, police said Casario admitted he lit more than 20 brush fires in the past two years in the township's Cedarbrook section.
Casario is not involved with any fire service in the area, according to police.
He was charged with second degree arson, with additional charges from previous fires pending, and remains in Camden County Jail in lieu of $75,000 full-cash bail.
