N.J. police seek man who allegedly exposed himself to kids

The suspect was using his phone during the entire encounter.

HADDONFIELD -- Borough police are asking for the public's help with locating a lewdness suspect who reportedly exposed himself to students Wednesday afternoon.

Police were contacted at approximately 3:15 p.m. for a report of a possible lewdness incident near Hawthorne and Haddon avenues. Four juveniles saw the man, who was on his phone with his back turned. As the minors approached, police say the man "appeared startled and turned around."

The zipper on the man's pants was down his genitals were exposed. The suspect -- still using his phone -- then turned around and walked away, police said.

Hit-and-run driver a 'coward'

"At no point did the subject communicate with the juveniles in any manner," police said Thursday.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male in his 40s, standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall with short black hair, wearing sunglasses, a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
