PHILADELPHIA -- A tractor-trailer that overturned on the westbound side of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on Thursday afternoon is not expected to be cleared from the roadway until after rush hour, officials said.
The Delaware River Port Authority said the truck overturned around 2 p.m. and two lanes will remain open to traffic traveling from New Jersey to Philadelphia until about 6:30 p.m. Four lanes are open for eastbound traffic on the bridge.

All westbound traffic will be diverted to the 5th Street exit around 6:30 p.m., when the tractor trailer will be moved off the bridge, officials said. During that time, motorists will not have access to I-676, I-95 or Vine Street from the bridge.

The tractor trailer was filled with bananas but none of the fruit fell into the roadway, according to Philly.com. The news outlet reported that nobody was injured in the one-vehicle accident.
