The creatures were then reunited with their mother.
VOORHEES TWP. -- A township police officer and local fire chief teamed up Sunday morning to help ducklings stuck in a storm drain, CBS3 reports.
Voorhees police officer Mike Perez and volunteer fire chief Harry Lauletta responded to the scene near Kirkbride Road and manage to save the creatures plus reunite them with their mother, according to the report.
What's more, a nearby resident told the television station that police have been out before to assist other stranded ducks.
