Man stabbed in throat after South Jersey concert, authorities say

The stabbing occurred Saturday night after a concert on the Camden Waterfront.

CAMDEN -- A dispute between two men after a concert led to one stabbing the other in the throat, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

The man who was stabbed is listed in stable condition at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. The alleged stabber, George Kelly, 25, of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession.

The stabbing occurred on the Camden Waterfront near Campbell's Field at 9:05 p.m. Saturday.

Body pulled from Delaware River

Kelly and an unidentified 26-year-old man got into a physical altercation, according to the prosecutor's office. During the fight, Kelly allegedly stabbed the 26-year-old man in the throat.

Camden County Sheriff's Department arrested Kelly, who was held in Camden County Jail.
