The indictment says "numerous" guns were bought at guns shows and through "straw" buyers in three states.

CAMDEN -- A federal grand jury Wednesday indicted a Willingboro man on charges that he allegedly conspired with others to buy firearms at gun shows and through false buyers and then sold the weapons to drug dealers and convicted felons in South Jersey, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

Fr'Neil Hickson, 36, was charged with one count of dealing in firearms without a federal firearms license, one count of conspiracy to deal in firearms and transport firearms interstate for sale without a license and one count of possession of firearms by a convicted felon, it said.

According to the indictment, Hickson's alleged associates, Joshua Jackson, 35, of Willingboro and Antonio Berry of Columbus, Ohio, took orders on firearms to purchase at gun shows where no background checks were made on the buyer, or by using "straw buyers," other associates who would take the cash to buy the weapon and then turn it over immediately after purchase.

"Numerous" guns were purchased in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, it said.

Hickson and Terrance Laboo of Oaklyn picked up the guns, which were transported in duffel bags, and sold them to drug dealers and other felons in Camden and Willingboro, Fishman's office said. Laboo was a drug dealer in Camden as well, the indictment says.

The counts of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and dealing firearms without a license each carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. The count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000, Fishman's office said.

Jackson and Laboo already have pleaded guilty to similar charges as Hickson's before U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler, it said. They are scheduled to be sentenced next month, it said.
