CAMDEN -- A city man was held on $1 million full-cash bail for his alleged role in the shooting death of 28-year-old Britton Knox, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).
Jermaine Burnett, 23, was arraigned Monday before Judge Edward J. McBride Jr. in Camden County Superior Court on murder charges stemming from Knox's fatal May 28 shooting.
According to a probable cause statement issued by the CCPO, Burnett fatally shot Knox on the 1300 block of Browning Street, where he was found by Camden County metro officers suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital before being pronounced dead approximately a half-hour after the incident was detected in a ShotSpotter activation.
According to previous reports, Burnett was already behind bars in state prison due to a parole violation.
