Alleged overdose leads to heroin arrest in Voorhees

VOORHEES -- A suspected overdose lead police to arrest a man who was allegedly found with 37 bags of heroin in his car , authorities said.

On June 23 at approximately 8:50 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Burnt Mill Road for a woman who was reportedly overdosing. There, they found a man and woman inside a red Chevy sedan.

Anthony Pentasuglio, 37, of Philadelphia was arrested for 3rd degree possession of heroin and a possession of a hypodermic syringe

The woman was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Pentasuglio was sent to the Camden County Correctional Facility where his bail is set for $5,000, according to police.
