Authorities arrested a Camden man on possession and distribution charges.
GLOUCESTER TWP. -- A Camden man was found with a loaded handgun and numerous packages of heroin and cocaine during a motor vehicle stop, police said.
Troy Wilson, 28, was stopped at roughly 8:23 p.m. Friday on Blackwood-Clementon Road for a vehicle violation, Gloucester Township police said.
While approaching the vehicle, officers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, police found Wilson in possession of packs of heroin and cocaine, as well as a .38 caliber Ruger LCR handgun loaded with five rounds, authorities said.
Wilson was also found to have several outstanding warrants for his arrest, according to police.
Wilson was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of controlled dangerous substance, and distribution of CDS.
Police also charged Wilson with certain persons not to have weapons and possession of CDS 1,000 feet from a school.
Wilson was processed and held at the Camden County Jail in default of $150,000 full cash bail.
A passenger in the vehicle, Ziar Cuff, 19, of Sicklerville, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
