The new donations came from the FBI and Philadelphia 76ers.
CAMDEN -- While the city continues to mourn the loss of 8-year-old Gabrielle Hill Carter, who was fatally struck in a shootout last week, her father revealed Monday that the reward for information on the girl's killer has climbed to $76,000.

According to the Camden County Police Department and Camden County Prosecutor's Office, which are administering the fund, the $26,000 jump is due to contributions by the FBI and Philadelphia 76ers.
Gabrielle was playing outside on the evening of Aug. 24 when shots rang out. She was struck in the head and transported to Cooper University Hospital in "extremely critical" condition, Camden County police Chief Scott Thomson said the following day.
She was taken off life support and died on Friday. A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the what authorities believe to be a gang-related shooting has steadily risen from $5,000.
Gabrielle was set to begin 3rd grade at Camden Community Charter School. Vahan H. Gureghian, CEO of CSMI Education Management Inc., told NJ Advance Media on Monday that the group is paying for the girl's funeral.
"It's just an unbelievable and terrible situation," said Gureghian. "I certainly hope that at the end of the day, the perpetrator is brought to justice. This is just a total disregard for human life, to drive down a street shooting."
