Community and family of the 8-year-old Camden girl who was shot gathers to remember.
CAMDEN -- Roads were blocked off as neighbors and family wiped away tears entering into Faith Holy Temple Church of God in Christ Saturday to mourn the loss of an 8-year-old girl who was shot last week.
Music could be heard coming from the church as lines of family, friends and members of the community entered in to pay their respects to Gabrielle Hill Carter.
Carter was about to enter into the third grade but tragedy struck when she was shot in the head during a crossfire in front of her home Aug. 24.

The eight-year-old was hit by a stray bullet not intended for her and was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where she died days later after being taken off life support.
Just a week after the shooting, Carter's mother gave birth to a little boy, who was named after his big sister -- King Gabrielle.
The eight-year-old's organs were also donate, including a liver that went to a family relative.
Authorities are still investigating the unsolved shooting and a reward for more than $76,000 is still being offered for any information on the girl's killer.
