The seventh grader won ribbons in 3 prestigious riding competitions
Junior High student Prima Bonaventura is proving she is among the best equestrian riders in the region. Prima, a seventh grader at Gloucester Catholic Junior High School, brought home ribbons in three prestigious riding competitions this month.
On Sept. 7-9, she took home the gold medal with her horse, Miss Valken, in the Children's Jumper Finals in Saugerties, New York.
On Sept. 10 she captured a 4th place ribbon with her horse Miss Valken in the Marshall and Sterling Finals in Saugerties, New York.
Prima, who trains at her family-operated Postorivo Farms in Swedesboro, also won all her classes at the Devon Horse Show the weekend of Sept. 17-18 with her pony Just One Look. That same weekend she also took home a 5th and 7th place ribbon with her horse p51.
