No. 1 overall draft choice makes draining a shot from the second story of the Sixers' new practice facility look easy.

The Sixers cut the ribbon on the team's new state of the art practice facility last week, but No. 1 overall draft choice Ben Simmons officially broke in the new digs on Monday.

In the video above courtesy of the Sixers' Twitter account, Simmons easily drains a jump shot from the second story of the shimmering new practice facility on the Camden waterfront

While watching trick shots in September is certainly fun, the Sixers are hoping that Simmons along with the likes of Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor are the centerpieces of the franchise for a decade-long run of success for the franchise.

Earlier this month, head coach Brett Brown explained how he plans on using Simmons during his rookie season.

"There are a few questions that aren't going to go away and that's one of them," Brown said, when asked if he planned on using Simmons as the team's point forward in 2016-'17. "I feel like if the season started tomorrow I'd put him where I've been saying he's going to play; a four-man. He'll be a trailing-four. He's going to have the ball so much rebounding and leading the break that there's going to be times in the game where he's going to have the ball more as a traditional one. As the years unfold, we're going to judge it better.

"I completely feel that the strength of Ben Simmons is going to be born out of simplicity. We have to clean up his world, put him in a place where he can really do well and not have to think too much and grow him as we learn more about how he reacts to different situations."
