CHERRY HILL -- A Trenton man was convicted on Friday of human trafficking and promoting prostitution after four of his victims testified against him.

Brian Moore, 44 at the time of his arrest, was found guilty of five counts of first-degree human trafficking and six counts of third-degree promoting prostitution. Moore faces up to five years for each third-degree conviction and up to 20 years for each first-degree conviction, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Moore was arrested by the Special Investigations Unit of the Cherry Hill Police Department during an undercover operation in 2014 when he was seen dropping a woman off at a local hotel and then returning to pick her up, police have said. The woman involved solicited an undercover officer and was arrested immediately.

The investigation was turned over to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit. According to the prosecutor's office, further investigation revealed Moore was forcing women to engage in acts of prostitution, using and threatening violence. He additionally helped the women get illegal drugs from Camden on a regular basis.

Detectives were able to identify two additional victims with the help of the woman initially arrested, according to the prosecutor's office. The investigation revealed that Moore was housing women at a local Cherry Hill motel, keeping them there for several months and transporting them into Camden to purchase drugs daily.

A fourth victim came forward after the story of Moore's March 2014 arrest was announced by the media.

All four victims testified in court that Moore promoted prostitution and trafficked them, the prosecutor's office said. Each testified that Moore recruited them from Camden, took photos of them in revealing lingerie and posted those photos on websites such as Backpage.com. The victims also testified that they engaged in sexual acts, providing Moore with thousands of dollars.

The investigation revealed Moore had several bank accounts, various forms of electronic equipment and access to two vehicles which he used to run the operation.

Moore is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2.
