PITTSGROVE TWP. -- A beautiful fall morning brought hundreds to Parvin State Park for the annual Halloween Bone Run.
The event was organized by the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Proceeds from the Halloween Bone Run will support United Way's Impact Fund, helping to expand the reach of United Way's programs including those like New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids, United Way officials say.
Included at Saturday's event was a 5K run, 1-mile walk, kids' 400-meter dash. There was also a health fair and, keeping with the season, a Halloween costumes contest.
Awards were presented in each category.
Thank you to all 400 runners, walkers and volunteers who made today's #BoneRun such a success!
