A 62-year-old man had crack in his home, and a sexual assault investigation is ongoing.

GLOUCESTER TWP. -- Police arrested a man for drug possession and prostitution charges early Friday morning.

A 21-year-old woman got in touch with law enforcement Oct. 22, claiming that she had been sexually assaulted by Wendell Robinson, 62, of Chestertown Road. The woman was taken to JFK Hospital in Stratford, where she was given a medical evaluation and support services.

A SWAT team executed a search warrant at Robinson's home early the next morning, and he was arrested without incident. He was found with an unspecified amount of crack cocaine, police said. Robinson was charged with invasion of privacy, promoting prostitution and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

An announcement from the department did not provide details on what evidence prompted the prostitution charges. The sexual assault investigation is ongoing, and other charges are pending, according to the GTPD.
