GLOUCESTER CITY -- A fire broke out Sunday morning, leaving two mobile homes damaged and one firefighter injured, authorities confirmed.
Gloucester City firefighters responded to the scene of a blaze around 11 a.m., where officials said heavy fire was coming from a trailer. Firefighters reported that the fire spread from one mobile home trailer to a second neighboring trailer, both of which were occupied.
By 11:30 a.m., the majority of the fire was knocked down with assistance from Mount Ephram, Bellmawr and Westville fire departments, officials said. All of the homes' occupants escaped without injury, officials said.
One firefighter was injured and taken to Cooper Hospital for treatment, authorities said. His injuries, which are unspecified as this time, were minor, officials said.
According to Chief Patrick Hagen the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
