The event featured over a dozen food trucks downtown, with shops and restaurants open late.

HADDONFIELD -- The borough has plenty of popular restaurants to keep residents satisfied, but they brought in over a dozen more eateries -- these ones on wheels -- for the second Haddonfield Night Market Thursday.

The food trucks lining Kings Highway offered barbecue, tacos, wings, salads and pierogis for dinner and then cannoli, donuts and other sweets for dessert.

The crowds of hungry visitors enjoyed their dinners al fresco on benches, stone walls or curbs, or while strolling past the still-open shops.

The Partnership for Haddonfield put on the first Night Market in September, adding food trucks to the existing Late Night Thursdays event. Downtown businesses stay open late on those Thursdays.

Remi Fortunato, retail recruiter for the Partnership for Haddonfield, said in a press release that the second Night Market featured twice as many food trucks as the first.

"Our first Haddonfield Night Market food truck event was such a great success so we knew we wanted to do it again, but bigger," she said.

For the event, some shops and restaurants offered samples on the sidewalk. A deejay provided music and some farmers market vendors sold wares, too.
