The suspect struck the Republic Bank at approximately 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
CHERRY HILL TWP. -- An alleged bank robber is sought in connection with a heist in Cherry Hill that occurred Thursday morning, authorities say.
It was approximately 8:30 a.m. when the suspect entered the Republic Bank along Route 70 and allegedly passed a note demanding money to the teller.
The man received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, which adds that no weapon was displaying during the incident and no injuries were reported.
Authorities describe the suspect as a black male with a large build and standing just under 6 feet tall. He was wearing tan-colored pants, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a two-toned wool hat that was possibly gray and black with the words "ZOO YORK" on the front.
