Vehicle sought in hit-and-run crash that left man dead

The incident occurred near Baird Boulevard and Randolph Street, in Camden.

CAMDEN -- Camden County police are asking for the public's help to locate a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident this past weekend.

It was just after 7:50 p.m. Saturday when the victim -- a 39-year-old man whose name and town of residence was not been released -- was crossing Baird Boulevard near Randolph Street when he was struck.

The vehicle, described as a brown Buick sedan from the early 2000s, was traveling northbound along Baird Boulevard when it struck the victim and allegedly fled the scene. The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
