Camden's homicide rate has already surpassed the 34 who were killed in the city in 2015.
CAMDEN -- A man died after being shot in the stomach in Camden Saturday night, according to a report by 6abc.com.
The shooting occurred in the 900 block of North 33rd Street after 8 p.m. and no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, the report said.
The injured man died from his injuries at Cooper University Hospital, authorities told 6ABC.com.
Stabbing is 38th homicide in Camden in 2016
The number of homicides in Camden has already surpassed the total homicides in 2015. According to police numbers, 34 were killed in 2015, 33 in 2014, and 58 were killed in 2013. The record-high homicide rate was in 2012, when 67 people were slain.
Calls to the Camden County prosecutor's office were not returned Sunday morning.
