No one was hurt after the rear wheels of an empty car came off the tracks
FIELDSBORO -- A freight train derailment in Burlington County is delaying NJ Transit's River Line on Friday morning.
The Conrail derailment took place not far from the Roebling station in Florence, according to a New Jersey Transit spokeswoman.
River Line trains between Trenton and Camden are running with 30 minute delays as of 7:15 a.m. The trains are being slowed as they near the derailment.
Conrail says the rear wheels of an empty hopper car came off the tracks in Fieldsboro early Friday. No one was injured.
