Prosecutors identified Andrew Alston as the alleged gunman who shot Amber Dudley on Nov. 30.

TRENTON - A Hamilton woman admitted to playing a part in a robbery that resulted in the death of a 27-year-old Camden County woman last month, Mercer County prosecutors said Tuesday at a court hearing.

The admission was one of multiple statements Dominique Richter, 31, gave to police as she was questioned in connection with the Nov. 30 shooting death of Amber Dudley, 27, prosecutors said.

Also at the hearing, prosecutors identified Andrew Alston as the alleged gunman who shot Dudley. Alston has been charged in connection with the crime, but not yet apprehended, officials said.

Other information about Alston was not immediately made public Tuesday.

Richter and another woman, Kasey DeZolt, 32, have both been charged with being an accomplice to felony murder, robbery and firearms charges.

During a bail hearing for Richter Tuesday, prosecutors outlined the investigation that led to Richter's arrest.

They said Dudley was a passenger in a vehicle operating under the rideshare service Lyft in the area of Mechanics and East Trenton avenues around the time the robbery occurred.

Authorities have said a male got into the vehicle, intending to rob the people inside, and shot Dudley during the confrontation. The Collingswood resident died later at a Trenton hospital.

Accused killer captured on video before shooting, prosecutors say

Prosecutors said Tuesday that they spoke with the other people in the car at the time of the killing - two passengers and a driver.

Those interviews led authorities to investigate several suspects, including Richter, prosecutors said.

During interviews with investigators, Richter gave statements that had, "inconsistencies," including one that implicated herself in the robbery that targeted Dudley, prosecutors said.

An attorney for Richter said Tuesday that his client is mother to a 4-year-old daughter and has no criminal history. He added that he hasn't yet read through the statements Richter gave to police, but that the bail is "excessive."

A judge lowered the bail from $1 million to $500,000 Tuesday.

Richter's co-defendant, DeZolt, is being held on $1 million bail in Bucks County, Pa., where she was arrested last week. Prosecutors did not immediately know when DeZolt will be brought to New Jersey.
