Police are still investigating what may have caused the vehicle to go off the road.
VOORHEES TWP. -- Police are trying to determine what caused a vehicle to veer off Route 685 and strike several trees Sunday, killing the driver.
Voorhees police said in a statement that the accident occurred at 10:24 a.m. on Kresson-Gibbsboro Road near the Kresson Golf Course. Police said the driver was a township resident but did not identify him or her or reveal any other details.
Police said the 2009 Range Rover was driving north when it veered off the road and hit the trees. Emergency medical personnel who responded determined that the sole occupant had died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Voorhees police at (856) 428-5400.
