It's the second year that Gloucester City is holding a Paddy's Day parade.
GLOUCESTER CITY -- It's only the second year of the Gloucester City St. Patrick's Day Parade, but word apparently spread about the event.
Thousands of people turned out despite the cold Saturday to line the parade route, according to CBS Philly.
The parade began at Martin's Lake and proceeded down Monmouth Street to King Street before ending at Proprietor's Park.
The event is put on by the city, the county Freeholder Board and St. Mary's Parish. In addition to floats and marchers, the onlookers got to see and hear the Fralinger, Woodland, Durning, and Gloucester City String Bands, the Second Street Emerald Society, Camden County Emerald Society, Trenton AOH Bagpipe Bands and the Misty Dewers, according to a release from the county.
