Police are asking the public to help them identify the man. Watch video
CAMDEN -- Police are asking the public to help them identify a man they said robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint earlier this month.
The man got into a taxi at 317 Liberty St. around 4 p.m. March 7. When the taxi got to the corner of Yorkship Square and Kearsarge roads, the man pulled out a gun and stole cash from the driver, police said. He then got out and fled on foot.
The video shows the man walking on Liberty Street before the incident, police said.
The suspect appears to be approximately 5-foot-10-inches to 6 feet tall with a beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a black vest and a long-sleeve hooded shirt during the alleged robbery, according to police.
Anyone with information about the man or the incident is asked to call the Camden County Police Department tip line at (856) 757-7042.
