The victim's coworkers said they feel like family and want to help.

AUDUBON -- The former coworkers of a woman killed in a violent six-car wreck on the White Horse Pike in Oaklyn earlier this month are planning a fundraiser for her family.

The Great Cuts salon in the Audubon Crossings shopping center will feature $10 haircuts on Saturday, April 8 as part of a "Cut-a-Thon" to benefit the family of Danielle Allen.

"We're family," Chanel Forchion, 31, a stylist at the salon said Thursday. "This is a necessity. This is not just what we wanted to do, we had to do this."

Allen, 39, of Collingswood was one of two people killed in the accident on March 10 on the two-lane road with a speed limit of 30 mph. The other victim, Chaquana Little, 28, of Lindenwold, was a passenger in the other car, police said.

Witness reports said the car Little was in, which was reportedly driven by her mother, sideswiped two other cars before plowing into a vehicle driven by Allen's fiance, Michael Niessen, authorities said.

Niessen, 42, of Collingswood, was critically injured and is facing up to six more surgeries to reconstruct his legs, his family said. Little's mother and another family member remain hospitalized at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where Niessen is also being treated. Their names have not been released by authorities.

A viewing was held for Allen last week. Her remains will be interred later, after her fiance recovers, his family said. Allen did not have life insurance and is also survived by a daughter Amber, 20, and son, Giovanni, 15. Relatives have started a GoFundMe account for contributions.

Many of Allen's coworkers attended the viewing and said they still feel an obligation to help.

"We love her and we miss her and we're going to support her family," Forchion said. "Every customer in here, when they see the flier on the window say 'Oh my God, she was so bubbly and happy.' That's what she's known for."
