A video showing DRPA police officer Kenya Joyner giving a homeless man a new pair of shoes went viral this weekend.
LINDENWOLD -- A Delaware River Port Authority Police officer's act of kindness earned him some praise from the internet, as well as local officials after a video went viral this weekend.
Pine Hill Resident Kayla Christine Palmer posted on Facebook showing her thanking DRPA officer Kenya Joyner, who had just given a homeless man a pair of shoes outside the Lindenwold PATCO station.

She shared the video on the 6 ABC Facebook page where the video has gotten more than 900,000 views since it was posted on Saturday.
In a comment under the video, Palmer said the man had just gotten kicked off the bus when she saw the officer go over to him. She thought he might be going to "mess with him," but instead, she saw Jayner hand the man a new pair of shoes.

Palmer walked up to Joyner and told him she wanted to shake his hand before telling him that his act of kindness would be going viral.
A few officials from the DRPA, as well as Camden county, went to social media to share their praise for Joyner.
