Easter Bunny is hiding Easter eggs all over South Jersey

Here is a list of Easter Egg Hunts, Easter activities and Easter Bunny appearances in South Jersey.

APRIL 8

WOODSTOWN -- The Pilesgrove-Woodstown MAPSA Community Egg Hunt will be held at Woodstown High School on April 8. Day begins at 8:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria with a free breakfast of French toast sticks, sausage patty, hash brown and juices. A photo session with the Easter Bunny will also be held, be sure to bring your own camera. A speaker will discuss Youth Prevention of Substance Abuse. There will also be a petting zoo with baby lambs. The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 9:30 a.m. in the WHS Clint Ware Foot Stadium -- bring your own basket or bag. Egg hunt for three age groups: Ages, infant to age 4; age 5-7; and age 8-10. For information, contact Diane Cioffi, cioffi.d@woodstown.org.

WOODBURY -- Atrium Post Acute Rehab, 467 Cooper St. in Woodbury will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 1-10. Food, fun and prizes. Call 856-345-1200 for more information.

MANTUA -- VFW Post 7679, 8 New York Ave. in Mantua will hold an Easter Egg Hunt and lunch with the Easter Bunny on April 8 at noon. Donation -- bring a toiletry item for veterans' home residents.

ELMER -- Coombs Barnyard, 20 Route 77 in Elmer is holding an Egg and Veggie Hunt on April 8 and again on April 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include hayrides (every 30 minutes, last hayride at 3 p.m.), visit with barnyard animals, barrel train rides, games, real bunnies, and lots of farm fun. Event is open house style so come when you can. Estimated length of time needed to do all activities is approximately 2 hours. Cost is $10/child, $5/adult, kids under age 2 are free. Egg decorating and food available at an additional cost. 

APRIL 15

CARNEYS POINT -- First Assembly of God, 380 Georgetown Road in Carneys Point will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 0-11. FERRELL -- Ferrell United Methodist Church will be having an Easter Egg Hunt on April 15 at 1 p.m. in the social hall, Routes 538 and 641 across from the Ferrell Fire House. Featuring the Easter Bunny and light refreshments. All are welcome.

UPPER DEERFIELD -- Good News Assembly of God, 6 Holly Ave. in Upper Deerfield will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers to age 10 on April 15 at 10 a.m. Bring a basket to carry the eggs.

MANTUA -- The United Methodist Church of Mantua, 201 Mantua Blvd. in Mantua will hold an Easter Egg hunt for age 2 through sixth grade on April 15 at 11 a.m. Bring a basket to carry the eggs.

GLASSBORO AND CHERRY HILL -- Kingsway Church, 2701 Chapel Ave. in Cherry Hill is holding to large Easter Egg Hunts. Cherry Hill Egg Hunt, April 15 at 10 a.m. (Cherry Hill High School West stadium) for ages 0-12. Glassboro Egg Hunt, April 15 at 10 a.m. at New Street Park in Glassboro for ages 0-12. Cherry Hill West's football field and Glassboro's New Street Park will be covered with 75,000 little plastic eggs. Each egg filled with candy or a golden ticket. Hunt will consist of four separate age groups, so all the kids will get plenty of eggs, candy and prizes. The ages groups are (0-2, 3-5, 6-9 and 10-12). Parents and teenagers are not allowed to gather eggs, only children 12 and under. Parents, grandparents can watch, eat donuts and drink hot coffee. Eggs and prizes are for children only! MICKLETON -- Bring a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m. at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 12 Harmony Road in Mickleton on Saturday, April 15. There will also be a service project of making cards for Shady Lane residents. Bake sale also at 10 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. for toddler through age 9.
