All five suspects have been indicted in the November 2016 shooting death of Amber Dudley in Trenton.

TRENTON - A fifth person has been charged in the killing of Amber Dudley, the Camden County woman shot to death during a botched robbery in Trenton last year, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday.

Douglas Mathis, 52, of Trenton, is the most recent person accused in the November killing of Dudley, who was fatally wounded while in a car driving under the rideshare service Lyft.

Mathis drove accused gunman Ronderrick Manuel to East Trenton the night of the crime, the prosecutor's office said.

Mathis was charged April 10, while in the Camden County Jail on unrelated charges, the office said.

The prosecutor's office revealed Mathis' alleged involvement in the crime in announcing murder indictments against him and the other our suspects - Manuel, 43, of Trenton; Andrew Alston, 39, of Trenton; Kasey DeZolt, 32, of Morrisville, Pa., and Dominique Richter, 31, of Hamilton.

Martin, Alston, DeZolt and Richter were indicted last week on one charge each of first-degree felony murder and first-degree robbery as well as weapons offenses.

Suspects arrested during shooting are released

Manuel, who was identified by prosecutors as the gunman, was indicted on two counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree felony murder, one count of first-degree robbery and weapons offenses.

Prosecutors have said that Dudley, 27, of Collingswood, was a passenger in a Lyft car along with three other people, one of whom was using the service to meet DeZolt in East Trenton on Nov. 30, 2016.

According to prosecutors, DeZolt and Richter were working together to lure a male passenger in the car to the Trenton neighborhood to rob him.

When they arrived near the intersection of Mechanics and East Trenton Avenues that evening, Manuel got into the car and tried to rob the male passenger, according to prosecutors.

They believe Manuel's gun discharged during the robbery, hitting Dudley in the head. She was pronounced dead at a Trenton hospital a short time later.

Prosecutors have said one of the attempted robbery victims identified Manuel as the shooter from surveillance footage of the area.
