Chelsea Reel walked away from a group home on April 12.
CLEMENTON -- A 15-year-old borough girl who walked away from a group home here on April 12 and sparked a statewide search has been "located and is safe," according a statement Saturday from Clementon Police.
Authorities thought Chelsea Reel could be in the area of Mays Landing or Toms River where she had friends. It was not immediately reported where she was found.
An NJ.com report earlier this month on the search for Chelsea generated close to 6,000 social media shares.
