The incident allegedly occurred Tuesday.
CHERRY HILL -- Police are investigating a report of a man video recording people in the bathrooms of the Cherry Hill Mall, a township police captain said Tuesday.
"We did take a report yesterday," Captain Amy Winters said Tuesday. "It's under investigation."
NJ Advance Media received a report from a person who said he saw a man Monday "video taping people in a public restroom at the Cherry Hill Mall."
"He escaped before I could do anything," the person said. "But I did file a police report."
Cherry Hill Mall management said in a statement they were aware of the report.
"The safety of our tenants, shoppers and staff is always our number one priority," a statement said. "We are working directly with Cherry Hill Police Department to help aid in this ongoing investigation and maintain a safe shopping environment for consumers."
