Ride for Recovery benefits Maryville Addiction Treatment Center
WILLIAMSTOWN -- More than 80 motorcyclists revved their engines and rode for a cause in the 5th Annual Motorcycle Ride for Recovery and Bike Show May 7.
The route took them from West Collingswood Heights to Williamstown, where riders parked at Maryville Residential and enjoyed a barbecue, 50/50 and basket raffle attended by more than 300 people.
All proceeds benefit the Peter P. Black IV Scholarship Fund at Maryville Addiction Treatment Center, which helps individuals unable to pay for substance abuse treatment.
"The Ride for Recovery is incredibly important for our clients in South Jersey who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders," said Kendria McWilliams, CEO of Maryville. "Our mission is to help them find health, hope and healing in recovery and to ensure that all those who need treatment have access to it."
