Magazine recognizes current and future leaders in various industries
VOORHEES -- Anthony J. Wehbe, D.O., MBA, FACOI, a resident of Mickleton and Chief Population Health Executive for Kennedy Health, has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal's (PBJ) annual "40 Under 40" list, which recognizes current and future leaders in various industries and in the community.
This year, the PBJ received nearly 400 nominations -- an all-time record -- for its "40 Under 40" program. Wehbe, along with this year's other winners, were featured in the magazine's May issue and honored at a special event held May 11 in Philadelphia.
Wehbe, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, has been a member of Kennedy's Medical Staff since 2012. In his role as Chief Population Health Executive, Wehbe oversees all operations of the Kennedy Health Alliance (KHA), a network of primary and specialty care practices; as well as Kennedy Family Health Services, Kennedy Home Health Care, the Kennedy Nutrition Center, Kennedy's Health Innovation Program, and the Kennedy Health Care Center (a long-term care facility).
Kennedy Chief Physician Executive, Dr. Carman A. Ciervo -- who nominated Wehbe for inclusion on the list -- acknowledged Wehbe's many successes as a physician and community leader.
A resident of Mickleton,Wehbe earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), and completed both his medical internship and residency through the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM).
Wehbe is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
