GLOUCESTER TWP. -- Township police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Thursday morning.
Shortly before 2 a.m. on Thursday, a man entered the 7-11 store on Blackwood Clementon Road. According to police, he announced the robbery and revealed the butt end of a handgun.
Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, between 30 and 40 years old. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall and looked to weigh approximately 240 pounds.
He was wearing black square sunglasses, a pink bandanna over his face, a black pullover hooded sweatshirt, a pair of black and grey mechanic style gloves, black pants and grey or white sneakers.
