Saadiq Coleman, 19, was running toward two police officers when he collapsed just shy of reaching the officers' vehicle.
CAMDEN -- A 19-year-old city resident was shot to death in Camden on Tuesday night, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Investigators say two Camden County Police Department (CCPD) officers in a marked patrol vehicle were parked on the 300 block of Camden when they heard "several gunshots" coming from Broadway and Benson Street just before 8:30 p.m.
The two officer got out of the patrol car when they saw Saadiq Coleman running toward them. He collapsed just shy of reaching the officers' vehicle. Coleman had been shot multiple times, according to investigators. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and arrests had been made as of late Wednesday afternoon.
