The man police arrested was sent to the Camden County Jail, "where he could properly urinate in the toilet in his cell," police said.

BERLIN -- Borough police arrested a Camden County man for allegedly urinating on their department building and its not the first time this year they've interrupted such an occurrence.

According to police, an officer was at the station at around 3 a.m. on Nov. 16 and apparently saw a man on surveillance camera who was standing in the main entrance breezeway. Further, it appeared that the man's pants were down.

"The officer went outside and confronted the male who was found to be urinating on the front of the building," Berlin police said.

Police identified the man as Markeith Johnson, of Lindenwold. He was arrested without incident, charged with lewdness and disorderly conduct and sent to the Camden County Jail "where he could properly urinate in the toilet in his cell," police said in a Facebook post announcing the arrest.

Back in August, a borough man was a passenger in a vehicle during a DUI stop. Although the man was apparently argumentative with police, he eventually left without being charged.

While the driver was being processed by police, the passenger allegedly came back to the station and was caught urinating on the front door. He was charged with disorderly conduct and lewdness.
