Armed robber sought after brandishing handgun, N.J. police say

Voorhees Township police are asking for the public's help with identifying a suspect in a recent armed robbery of a local business.

VOORHEES TWP. -- Township police are asking for the public's help with identifying an alleged armed robbery suspect who had a handgun during an incident at a White Horse Road business.

It was just before noon on Monday when the suspect -- described by police as a black male, 6 feet tall and between 25 to 35 years old -- entered the Dollar World at 220 White Horse Road.

Police said a handgun was "displayed" during the armed robbery, however did not note what was stolen from the business. The suspect is also said to have been wearing a green blazer or jacket, a gray Chicago Bulls baseball gap, black Converse sneakers with white laces and was carrying a backpack.

He was also of a thin build and had facial hair. Photos of the suspect can be found on the police department's Facebook page.
