The new Wawa on the White Horse Pike, in Barrington, is giving out free coffee all weekend as part of its grand opening.
BARRINGTON -- Anyone looking to grab a free cup of joe should head to the Wawa on the White Horse Pike before Sunday.
The store -- which celebrated its grand opening Friday -- is Wawa's 243rd in New Jersey. The parking lot was packed full of cars and a large group gathered in front as company officials opened the store along with the Wawa mascot, Wally Goose.
The store is continuing the celebration through the weekend by giving out free coffee until Sunday, Dec.6.
The grand opening wasn't all about geese and free coffee though.
Members of the Barrington police and fire departments faced off to see who could make the most hoagies in three minutes to support a good cause. Wawa donated $1,000 on behalf of both agencies to the charities of their choice.
