WOODBURY -- A Gibbstown man admitted Friday that he stole a rifle from his father and sold it in Camden for heroin, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
Kyle W. Still, 30, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a rifle on Nov. 3, 2014, in Greenwich Township.
Assistant Prosecutor Vanessa Craviero will recommend a 5-year sentence with parole ineligibility for the first 20 months.
Superior Court Judge Kevin T. Smith accepted the plea deal and scheduled sentencing for Jan. 22.
Still was arrested in November 2014 in connection with the theft of 11 handguns and rifles reported stolen Nov. 3. Greenwich Township Police said at the time that the weapons were swapped for 40 packets of heroin.
Co-defendant Nicholas J. Fox, 33, of Clarksboro, still faces charges of conspiring to commit theft and unlawful possession of a weapon.
