A fatal two-car accident along the White Horse Pike on Saturday remains under investigation.
LINDENWOLD -- A fatal two-car accident along the White Horse Pike on Saturday remains under investigation, according to borough police.
Lindenwold police were dispatched to the intersection of United States Avenue and the White Horse Pike shortly after 9:30 p.m. There, officers found a 1997 Ford Escape and a 1996 Ford Bronco.
The Escape was attempting a left-hand turn off United States Avenue onto the White Horse Pike when it collided with the Bronco, which was traveling west along the pike. The driver of the Escape was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of Bronco was transported to a local hospital for observation and released.
Authorities noted there was no indication that alcohol was a factor in the accident. Police did not release the identity of the driver who was killed.
