Kevin Gould, 24, and Daquan Hines, 22, were found shot to death in a car in Lindenwold in 2011.
CAMDEN -- A 28-year-old Sicklerville man was convicted Friday of killing two men as they sat in a car in Lindenwold in 2011.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, a jury found James M. Harris guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and weapons charges in the shooting deaths of Kevin Gould, 24 of Berlin, and Daquan Hines, 22 of Lumberton.
Gould and Hines were found dead in the driver and passenger seats of a Toyota Camry outside of the Pine Ridge Apartments on Laurel Road in the borough on Dec. 9, 2011.
Assistant Prosecutor Peter Crawford argued during the trial that Harris was in the backseat of the car before he shot Gould and Hines and that cellphone records proved he was in the area just before the pair were killed and returned to Sicklerville shortly after.
Harris, who is currently in federal prison on a 17-year sentence for armed robbery, will be sentenced on Feb. 5 and could face up to two life sentences in state prison.
