A Somerdale woman is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a male student, according to the Camden County Prosecutor Office.

GLOUCESTER TWP. -- A middle school aide faces sexual assault and other offenses for alleged sexual contact with a former student, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Jennifer Pasquarello, 41, of Soderdale, is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a former male student multiple times between November 2013 and May 2015 when she was working at the Glen Landing Middle School, authorities said.

The alleged assaults took place off of school grounds and reportedly began when the student was 14 years old, according to the prosecutor's office.

Detectives met with Pasquarello on Monday morning and took her from the Ann Mullen School -- where she currently works -- to the Glocuester Township Police departments, where she was charged.

She faces one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to the prosecutor's office.

She was held in the Camden County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail.

The prosecutor's office said the Gloucester Township School District has been fully cooperative with the investigation, and they immediately terminated Pasquarello from her job when they found out about the charges.

Anyone with additional information is urged to call Detective Tim Houck of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office at 856-225-8506 or Gloucester Township Poluce Detective Ron Middleton at 856-228-4500.
