Police said they've increased patrols after experiencing an increase in vehicle burglaries over the last few months.
HADDON TWP. -- Police are warning residents to lock the doors on their vehicles after three men were charged over the weekend in connection to several vehicle burglaries.
Haddon Township police have increased patrols in response to what they called an "uptick" in vehicle burglaries over the last few months.
On Saturday night, Phillip Bantom III, 19, of Camden, was stopped on Walnut Street after said he was trying to open some car doors in the area. He was charged with numerous car burglaries, according to police..
The next night, police arrested two men -- identified as Rochard J. Gratton, 34, formerly of Williamstown and Thomas Neth, 21, formerly of Somerdale. The men were allegedly targeting unlocked cars in search of valuables, according to police.
Authorities urged residents to lock their cars and not to leave anything valuable in plain sight inside.
