The man, from Dorchester, Ma., was previously charged with kidnapping a woman from her home at gunpoint.

CHERRY HILL TOWNSHIP -- A 30-year-old Massachusetts man admitted Monday that he forced a Boston woman into prostitution at a township hotel last year.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said Javann Hall, of Dorchester, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree human trafficking after he was arrested during an undercover prostitution investigation in January of 2015.

Police said the victim was advertised on Backpage.com, a classified website notorious for advertising escort services, and witnessed Hall dropping her off at a local hotel.

When the woman solicited an undercover investigator, she was taken into custody, and it was later revealed that Hall used threats of violence to force the woman into prostitution multiple times a day.

According to a 2012 report in The Boston Globe, Hall was previously accused of kidnapping women, sexually assaulting them and forcing them into prostitution. In one case Hall, who reportedly has a history of drug and assault charges, allegedly forced a victim from her home at gunpoint. The outcome of those charges were not reported.

All charges against the victim, of Boston, will be dismissed. She has since been referred to a social worker to help her access social services and counseling.

Hall, who remains incarcerated in Camden County Jail, will be ordered to pay a $15,000 fine, as well as restitution to the victim.

As part of his plea deal, prosecutors have recommended he serve seven years in state prison. Sentencing is scheduled for April 1.
