EVESHAM TWP. -- Two people have been charged for allegedly running off with a pizzeria's tip jar, police have announced.
The theft occurred at Franco's Family Restaurant in Marlton on Saturday evening. Surveillance footage from the restaurant shows a woman grabbing the tip jar from the countertop and hurrying out the door, followed close behind by a male accomplice. The announcement was shared dozens of times by customers, and by Tuesday morning, police said the pair had been apprehended.

Christina Hopkin, 28, and Carlton Pettit, 26, both of Browns Mills, were charged with disorderly persons offenses, according to a post on the Facebook page of the Evesham Township Police Department.
The owners of Franco's expressed their gratitude in a followup post.
"Franco's would like to graciously thank all of our loyal customers and everyone who shared our post about our tip cup being stolen," read the announcement.
