COLLINGSWOOD -- A juvenile is facing a slew of weapons charges following an incident in the borough late last month.
Police said the authorities were called to Haddon Avenue on March 31 at about 10:30 p.m. after a resident stopped an officer on patrol near Ardmore Terrace and reported a male running down the street was potentially involved in a shooting at W. Franklin and North Atlantic avenues.

While police didn't find any evidence a shooting occurred, an investigation by the department's detectives turned up information about a male juvenile's role in the incident.
Police did not disclose what that role was, but said the juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of weapons, possession of firearms by a minor, conspiracy to manufacture, transport, disposition and defacement of weapons, and making a false representation in an application for a firearm.
He remains lodged in the county's juvenile detention facility.
