CAMDEN -- Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey (RMHSNJ) announced it has hired Tina Fiorentino, Voorhees resident, to its team as development director. In this position, Fiorentino will seek and cultivate corporate sponsorships, manage major donors, individual giving and direct mail campaigns, and work with the event/volunteer manager to enhance success. She brings 18 years of experience in the nonprofit industry to Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey.
Prior to joining the RMHSNJ family, Fiorentino spent 18 years as the executive director for the Little Rock Foundation, a non-profit benefiting children who are blind, visually impaired, and physically challenged. While working with Little Rock, she was charged with all administrative operations, program development, private and corporate fundraising, website design and more.
Fiorentino has also served as a parent advocate on behalf of parents with special needs children. In this capacity she consults with parents regarding program development and activities, reviews Functional Behavior Assessments, evaluations and 504 Plan while providing resources and support services for families.
"I have always admired the work done by the Ronald McDonald House organization and am excited to join the team in Southern New Jersey," said Fiorentino. "Having the opportunity to provide families a home during a time when they need it most and impact their lives in a positive way is something that I truly care about. In the few weeks since I came to Ronald McDonald House, I've already met so many wonderful families and consider myself very fortunate to help ensure these families have a good experience during their stay with us."
