February is National Children's Dental Health Month.
GLOUCESTER TWP. -- As part of National Children's Dental Health Month, Camden County College's dental hygiene and dental assisting students and staff were joined by area dentists to provide free cleanings to local children.
The Give-Kids-a-Smile Day program offered preventive care and oral health education to area children aged 12 and younger.

"We are proud to provide these services to children who might not otherwise have access to dental care," said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez. "In addition to cleanings and screenings, the children will be taught about good dental health."
Last year's Give-Kids-a-smile Day at Camden County College provided more than $21,000 in x-rays, cleanings, restoration, extractions and other dental services to children.
